G&M Cafe is the best.

Ok.  So I knew about G&M Cafe before I moved here – it’s probably one of my reasons for being.  Located at 98 Broad Street, if you didn’t know about it or weren’t looking for it, you might stumble over the outside sign but miss the entire concept.  I like how hidden it is…and how delicious.  My favorite menu options are as follows: Cucumber Soup (Bernhardt says I need a tube connecting from G&M to our house so I can have it always), O’Salmon (toasted Canadian Rye bread, goat cheese, smoked salmon), Croq Croissant [I get it with salmon] (it is ham or turkey on croissant with dijon mustard, swiss and mozzerella cheese), and of course, the chocolate cake.  It’s amazing.  Trust me.

Thursday nights are fondu nights and I can usually be found with a half bottle of red smiling to myself as I fry beef in my own personal pot.

G&M is my favorite place in town.  They have the best coffee, a low key vibe, and you can just sit and be alone or eat with friends.  Eat here and you won’t be sorry, just don’t ruin it for the locals.
